Gracie Humaitá Jiu-Jitsu – Tottenham

February Week 1: INTEGRITY

"Integrity is doing the right thing, even if nobody is watching." – Anonymous

At Gracie Humaitá Jiu-Jitsu Tottenham, we train not just for skill, but for character. Integrity is one of the most valuable traits a martial artist can have—it means choosing the right path, regardless of the circumstances.

On the mats, integrity means putting in your best effort in every drill, sparring session, and competition. It means being honest about your progress, tapping when necessary, and respecting your training partners. In life, it means standing firm in your beliefs, even when it’s difficult.

Ask yourself:

  1. Have you ever felt pressured to do something against your values?
  2. How did you feel when you stood by your integrity?
  3. What are some ways you can practice integrity every day?

Jiu-Jitsu is about more than techniques—it’s about building the discipline, honesty, and integrity to succeed in all aspects of life.
